My grandfather was detailing, what was to me, a gruesome story. He told how his uncle used to butcher ducks right in his basement. Then his uncle would deliver the blood to his mother to make some weird dish with. Gross story, true, but what I found interesting was looking at everyone's responses and facial nuances. Everyone thought the story was too much and disgusting.

YET, when I told a story no more than 15 minutes later about me relishing the idea of chopping open a big, juicy watermelon and having the juice drip all over my face, hands, and probably shorts; no one had anything to say, but Mmmm....

HELLO!?!

I didn't bring it to light. (I have learned my lesson, not on Holidays =) )

They know what the natural choice for humans to eat is. Every single person does. It's physiological, psychological, and most assuredly fact.

That's my rant for the evening,
Kevin
