I'm Confused.
I see glowing radiant people eating the 80/10/10 diet and I've been working my way over to that regime, but lately I've been seeing lots of research articles popping up on the dangers of excess fructose- processed or from fruit.
I'm feeling really confused about all of this.
Here's the latest Mercola article on the subject...
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/artic ... px?np=trueI think the majority of the studies were done on mice, who I feel have different metabolisms with slightly different requirements... but still, the basic information about fructose metabolism in humans is correct.
Why is this coming out as being extremely detrimental, when others seem to be obviously thriving on a high fructose diet?
Is it because of the high nutritional and anti-oxidant load that counteracts any liver damage??
I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this.
