Hey Anne.
I have friends who have been to Africa and who say it is easy to get fresh, raw fruits and vegetables in large variety. How have you been managing so far?
Dr. Graham's educational material always help me when I want some support with this diet and lifestyle. You have read 811 already, yes? What did you think?
How old are you, Anne? I would like to connect with more young 811 all around the globe. I'm 20 myself, and have been on 811 for over 3 years. My girlfriend is almost 19 and has been eating this way for almost 2 years. I'm from Australia, and she's from Florida, USA. :)

Peace,
Luke

Hey Luke,
Am 32yrs and yes i have read 811 and it is mind blowing. The book makes a lot of sense and am rereading it just to make sure i haven't missed some points.

Yes fruits and vegetables are in plenty but not organic. I go to the farmers market every week and store my food in a fridge.Am a masseuse so time is limited for me i work 16hrs a day.I eat the fruits in season and i eat mostly spinach and lettuce as vegetables.cucumbers and tomatoes are my favorite.

At first it was hard to go completely raw since there is temptation and its hard with a society that believes meat (red)is the stable food.
My family doesn't believe its a good choice but i have been 70% raw for 1year and completely raw for 9months.

I have not met anyone who eats 811 way of life in Kenya.Am all alone so this is kind of nice.

thanks for the response

Anne from Nairobi Kenya

When you get on a diet, lose weigth, then star eating again as much you where eating before - the same resulkts will follow. There is NO diet that you can eat what you want and gain no weigth. There are plenty of protein in cold food - like fish, eggs. Raw foods not necessarily need to be fruits and vegetables.
