Culinary Student Recipe


Here is a student recipe that won one of the contests we had during Culinary Skills Week 2010. Enjoy!

Favorite 2nd Course: Hearty Tomato Soup
Chef: Clarissa Clark


Ingredients
  • semi-dry & fresh tomatoes (Roma or beefsteak)
  • handful of fresh basil leaves (to taste)
  • juice of ½ lime ¨ ¼ Haas avocado ¨ 1 red bell pepper
  • cucumber slivers (adjust quantity to appetite)
Directions
1.  Blend tomatoes, basil, lime, avocado & bell pepper into a hearty sauce
2.  Add cucumber slivers to sauce and serve
