Sustain Your Health Wins Printing Awards

Each year printers from every state submit their best work to statewide industry competitions to celebrate the best of print design for the previous year. The best of the best go on to national competition. This competition showcases

corporate, collegiate, and small business print design, including the work of major Atlanta TV networks, universities, and corporations such as Coca-Cola. This year we are proud to announce that the Sustain Your Health booklet, available exclusively at Dr. Graham’s events, has won two awards in this prestigious competition.

Awarded by the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG), the awards are broken down into categories for printing processes, such as offset press or digital press, and the style of the printed piece, such as postcard, poster, booklet, greeting card, or brochure. Last year we were blessed with two best of category awards for the Living Yoga lecture promotions of 2009. This year, the Sustain Your Health booklet surpassed this and was awarded Best of Category for digitally printed booklet, and the coveted Top Gold Award for digital print. To give you a sense of what The Top Gold Award for digital print means, out of all the digital print categories, from all of the digital print submitted to the competition, from each printer in the state, the Sustain Your Health booklet was the winner. The only higher award is Best of Show. The winner is always chosen for inspiring and innovative design, and the printing quality and difficulty of each printed piece.

This booklet was designed to be the event gift to surpass all others. Complete with images photographed by Kyla Brown, with food styling and design by Lennie Mowris of lenspeace, the Sustain Your Health booklet provides recipes, kitchen tool tips, and inspiring messages to keep you on your path to health. The book was created using 100% post-consumer waste paper in the interior and manufactured to be carbon-neutral with wind energy.

Printed by Bennett Graphics, an industry leader in FSC-certified sustainable print, the Sustain Your Health booklet will be honored on May 13, 2011 at the PIAG 34th Annual Celebration of Print in Atlanta GA. Both printer and designer will be present at the awards ceremony to celebrate this victory for sustainable print design.
